Conference Overview:

The Hepatitis B Community Forum is organized by the Hepatitis B Foundation in collaboration with ICE-HBV. The event takes place on the first day of the International HBV Meeting. Audience members are primarily attendees of the 2025 International HBV Meeting, including participants in the Emerging Researchers Workshop. The Forum aims to foster engagement between scientific researchers, public health professionals and the broader community affected by hepatitis B and Delta. Key objectives include promoting communication between these groups to identify the best approaches to advance a cure for hepatitis B and eliminate stigma and discrimination. The Forum brings together leading clinical and public health experts and people living with hepatitis B and Delta. Attendees will learn about the current treatment landscapes for hepatitis B and Delta in the host country- Germany in 2025-and gain unique insights on the lived experiences of individuals in Europe with these conditions. In addition, Forum attendees will hear about the epidemiology of hepatitis B and Delta and the progress in elimination of hepatitis B in Germany.
