Conference Overview:
The Hepatitis B Community Forum is organized by the Hepatitis B Foundation in collaboration with ICE-HBV. The event takes place on the first day of the International HBV Meeting. Audience members are primarily attendees of the 2025 International HBV Meeting, including participants in the Emerging Researchers Workshop. The Forum aims to foster engagement between scientific researchers, public health professionals and the broader community affected by hepatitis B and Delta. Key objectives include promoting communication between these groups to identify the best approaches to advance a cure for hepatitis B and eliminate stigma and discrimination. The Forum brings together leading clinical and public health experts and people living with hepatitis B and Delta. Attendees will learn about the current treatment landscapes for hepatitis B and Delta in the host country- Germany in 2025-and gain unique insights on the lived experiences of individuals in Europe with these conditions. In addition, Forum attendees will hear about the epidemiology of hepatitis B and Delta and the progress in elimination of hepatitis B in Germany.

8th Annual Conference Of Egyptian Club Of Ascites (ECA 2025)
Conference Overview:
The Egyptian Club of ascites (ECA) is an experienced multidisciplinary team that has been founded in 2016 by Prof. Nadia Abdelaaty. ECA is representing nearly all national universities and aiming to unify the guidelines regarding diagnosis and management of ascites.
In the current conference, it is an honor to collaborate with International Club of Ascites (ICA). ECA 2025 will include hands on training aiming to enhance the skills of our colleages all over Egypt.
Moreover, ECA 2025 is showing up to date issues through lectures and interactive sessions about ascites in Africa, ascites of mixed eitiologies.
Challenging clinical cases for ascites of different eitiologies will be reviewed by the ECA board and will be presented during the conference giving the opportunity for discussion and comments by the panelist.
An algorithmic approach for evaluation of a patient with tuberculous peritonitis has been prepared by the ECA group and will be evaluated during this conference.

This webinar will explore the opportunities and challenges for expanding care guidelines across different resource settings, including in high- and low- and middle-income countries. Specific concepts that will be highlighted include:
Expanded and simplified treatment eligibility criteria for adults and now also for adolescents
Expanded eligibility for antiviral prophylaxis for pregnant women to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HBV
